Flissie women's boxers use Tanboocel bamboo viscose fabric that is manufactured in a closed loop process meaning that excess water and gas is recycled.

The key factor is that Tanboocel bamboo viscose does not use carbon-disulfide (which you should avoid) in the extraction process and alkali used for processing bamboo chips is recycled.

We use plastic-free corn starch packaging that is 100% compostable and disposable.

We design Flissie boxer shorts in the UK, then manufacture them in a sustainable factory in China, close to where our bamboo forest is grown and bamboo viscose fabric is woven. By keeping production close to the fabric’s origin, we significantly reduce transport emissions. We also choose sea freight over air shipping to further lower our carbon footprint when products arrive in the UK. Our commitment is to produce responsibly while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
